Today we travel throughout Galilee to two places in particular. The first is Tabgha. This is a traditional pilgrimage site that marks the occasion of Christ’s miracle of loaves and fish. We follow in the footsteps of thousands of pilgrims over the centuries who have marked this place as the place to remember and celebrate that miracle. We end our day at the Church of the Primacy of Peter.

Read John 21:1-19

Today is about being fed and feeding others. We recall today that Christ is not just Lord and Master, but servant and caregiver. He gathered the people together, took the meager offering and served the people until they were full. Likewise, we cared for a beaten and weary and confused group of disciples. How does the Lord fill you? Are you comfortable resting in the providing arms of Christ? But the day ends with Christ’s call to Peter to “feed my sheep.” We are fed so that we may feed others. So the big question of the day is, “Who are you feeding?” For whom are you living these days?

As you pray, give thanks to the Lord who fills us up, and ask again for the open heart to respond to the need of others.
