Dear Pastor Lance and the family of FPC Kenosha,
Greetings to you with the love of Christ Jesus our Lord. It is getting warmer here with much rain and we see more greens now. Thank you so much for your prayers. The Dushanbe center continues to bring lots of joy to people, church and me. 32 children more than half of none member’s kids. January 28, I received your Gift of $3000. On the 29th I traveled to ISFARA and I was there till February 16. With much joy and thanksgiving to God, on February 2nd the ISFARA center started in the church . It is one big room 3x8.5 m. high ceiling, good light, and airy room. It has 3 round tables with 24 chairs, a nice bookshelf and a good warm carpets on the floor. Even we bought a central heating for the whole church but for now I had to buy, 2 units oil heater to keep the room warm, and a small one in the bathroom. The first ½ week we had only 3 kids, the others were afraid to come to the church. By the end of the second week, we had 11 kids (5 girls and 6 boys) and I thought we should stop receiving more kids for a while to adjust to the new place and system. I sent all the kids to the clinic to make a medical record for them, because some of the kids did not have one and did not receive any immunization. Parents, mostly only mothers, are grateful for the care (cleanness, warmth, and food) their children are receiving at the center. Nigina is one mother. Her husband went to Russia to work and she did not hear from him for a long time. She every day brings her son, MOHAMED ALI (misha,) and hugs me for a while not letting me go, and with tears in her eyes she thanks me for having the center here. She said that MISHA does not need any food when he comes home, also he keeps some of the food that he gets at the center for his little brother. Their food is boiled water and some dry bread (NON is the Tajik for bread). Most of all, she thanks the workers because of their love for her son. But I also encountered an ungrateful family who accused us of breaking her child's shoulder, which did not happen at the center, and we were troubled for a couple of days. But thank God for his protection, things were cleared with no further problem. Yes the message of God’s love it is life for who receive it, but trouble for who reject it.
It is little a difficult for me traveling to ISFARA often to oversee the center there. The living condition is less comfortable than in Dushanbe. Last week I had a sudden high blood pressure, Barakatollo( a local friend) helped me to have an ultra sound for my kidneys, and sure, both were swelling and there were some big cysts. I was concern about it and I showed Dr. Philip Simmons( a British Dr.). He said I should not worry and better not to check my blood pressure often. Praying to go again soon to Isfara because a few more families wanted to bring their children to the center. Also the entrance to the center is not paved yet and it is bad when it rains. I still use an out door kitchen even we have a new indoor kitchen but it needs furniture. I have a refrigerator that needs to be unplugged to touch it, so I need to buy a new one. In addition, we need a gas stove. We have an electric one but the current is weak and we can not use it. Please continue to remember ISFARA before the father that people might see his love for them, and that God will refresh, and energize me to continue to serve him. Again thank you for your care, and I pray many blessings for you all.
With love, Nadia

Dear Pastor Lance and my friends at FPC Kenosha
I greet you in the wonderful name of our savior. I pray and trust that you were kept safe you and your loved ones through all what was happening in the US. I thank you for the second time support $1500. It took me a while to be to converse what is happening with the children center in Isfra. In these days I am reading Nehemiah and the rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem , and I was comforted and encouraged, about how God will do the same with the Isfra Ch. The situation is little difficult than what is in Dushanbe. Because of the killing of the pastor January of 2004, every thing stopped, meetings and finishing the building too. Till the fall of this year because God provided some funds from England and Germany, and US, then the work resume. But permissions need to be obtained, for every thing . I thank God because He gave favor in the eyes of the officials and the neighbors. Permission for electricity, gas, and the sewer were granted. So the heating system and the toilet and the kitchen was put in this month, and now they are trying to finish the room where the center are to be and the dinning room , For that the children still gathering in the hostel . I visited with them in September. We have had 10 kids, 3 graduated to go to the first grade, and they received one new child. Children are so happy to come and spend a peaceful time away from the drunken or abused parents. Also they learn languages, to count, to sing, coloring, drawing playing with many toys, and also have a good meal. My main teacher SEVATA was marred in September and she will go for seminary with her husband in Russia, so she is looking for her replacement. I need to go up again for the furniture, then moving the center to the church, I pray that will happen before the end of this year. The photos have names describing them, but I would comment about 3 of them. First the water in my tub during rainy days we get coffee water and it takes a lot of time and energy to clear it and make it useable. The second is praying before meals, it is new for the culture because usually they pray after they have eaten, but we teach children to thank God before and after eating. The third is about five years old, SHOKHROKH, abused child. In that day when I planned to visit the center, Sveta went to the center to see that things are in order before I arrive. She found Shokhrokh is not there. She went to his house to see what have happened, and the father came out and told her the child is punished for crying, and was locked in a room by himself and the father was about to leave the house and go somewhere. She begged the father to allow her to take the child. He agreed. When the child came out of the room he did not want any one to touch him and was crying even more. But finally he was calmed and went with Sveta. So he was rescued and received special care in the center. I pray that will encourage you and the church to continue in persevering in you calling as a prayer and financial supporter to the ISFRA FRIENDLY DAY CARE CENTER. Thank you so much for all your care to help give quality time for the preschoolers in ISFRA. Peace to you.Yours in Him
Nadia
